Which size do I need?
Match the size to your glass thickness, not your tank length: Small for glass up to 8 mm, Medium up to 12 mm, Large up to 20 mm. Most tanks under 200 litres use 6–8 mm glass — when in doubt, check your tank's manual or measure at the top edge.
Will it scratch my glass?
No. The inner scrubbing pad is designed for glass and the outer pad is felt-lined. Just make sure no gravel or sand gets trapped under the inner pad — lift it away from the substrate rather than dragging it through.
Does it work on acrylic tanks?
It is designed for glass aquariums. Acrylic scratches far more easily, so we don't recommend using it on acrylic panels.
What happens if the inner part detaches?
It floats. If you move too fast around a corner and the halves separate, the inner unit rises to the surface — no fishing around at the bottom of the tank.
